Handmade Felt Ornaments from Kyrgyzstan: Unboxed

Join HoonArts Founder Rikki Quintana for another "unboxing" event. This time, it's the latest shipment of handmade felt ornaments from Kyrgyzstan. Handmade by women at the rural cooperative "Kork" ("Hope" in the local Kyrgyz language), these little gems are perfect memorable gifts for children and adults alike.

The artisans at Kork, working in collaboration with Andrew Kushner, the founder of fellow Fair Trade Federation member Silk Road Bazaar, have created an amazing collection of animals, birds, fantasy creatures and more. You can hang them on your Christmas tree or wherever you hang out. They will make you smile and remind you that each simple little ornament is a symbol of connection across 12 time zones that is making a real difference in the world.
