Have you every wondered about those dramatic turban-like headdresses worn by some Kyrgyz women? In this short video, learn a little bit about the traditional Kyrgyz headdress for married women, known as the "Elechek." Still in use today in rural areas and at festival times, it has a lot of history and culture behind it.
